Estia – 3D Printed Scalloped Desk Tray
Estia is a scalloped desk tray for the things you put down when you walk in or sit down to work. Estia is the Greek word for hearth, the heart of the home, and this is the piece that gathers keys, rings, clips and earbuds in one place. Its walls rise in soft scallops built up layer by layer, and the textured base keeps small objects from sliding around.

Estia is designed in-house by Neo Athens and 3D-printed in Athens from plant-based PLA. The visible layer lines along the scalloped edge are intentional — they are what gives the tray its rhythm, and they change with the light through the day. At 20.5 × 10.7 cm it is equally at home on a desk, a console table by the door, a nightstand or a bathroom shelf. With seven colours to choose from, it is the easiest piece in the collection to match to a room.

Estia is deliberately simple to live with: nothing to open, nothing to fill, just a shape that invites you to put things down in it. The scalloped outline means it never looks like a plastic tray, even when it is holding the most ordinary contents, and the 150 g weight makes it easy to move from desk to hallway to bedside as the day changes.
